Owen Seitel appeared as a special guest on Sports Econ 101 With Edward Brown and Vern Glenn to discuss sports-related economic issues, with a particular focus in this episode on the California Fair Pay to Play Act and the change of the NCAA’s longstanding policy, now allowing NCAA student-athletes to exploit and receive money from licensing their name, image, and likeness (aka “publicity rights”) without jeopardizing their eligibility as Student-Athletes.
