Elizabeth J. Rest becomes Vice-Chair of the California Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Law Section’s newly founded Cannabis IP Interest Group

Elizabeth J. Rest becomes Vice-Chair of the California Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Law Section’s newly founded Cannabis IP Interest Group. The Group will provide education and networking opportunities to IP Law Section members in all areas of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights, with a focus on the cannabis industry. In particular, the Cannabis IP IG is designed to encourage a timely exchange of legal information in this rapidly evolving area of law, to provide a centralized forum and resource for all lawyers, judges, law students and paralegals in the state of California who are interested in obtaining useful and up-to-date information about the intellectual property law legal issues involved in this developing industry, and to provide those that practice in this area and those that are interested in this area an opportunity to network with others in the industry.
